mission is to advocate for justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion
within our Chapter, our profession, our workplaces, schools of social
work, and our communities. Social Workers have an ethical responsibility
to advocate for social justice, educate ourselves, demonstrate
awareness and cultural humility, and demonstrate understanding of the
nature of social diversity and oppression with respect to race,
ethnicity, national origin, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender
identity or expression, age, marital status, political belief, religion,
immigration status, socioeconomic status, mental or physical ability,
and other personal affiliations.
