The 6th installment of the New Clinical Social Worker series will give an introduction to trauma inventory and assessment. Areas to be explored include: the importance of considering trauma even when it is not the presenting problem, neurobiology of trauma and ACES, introduction to how trauma impacts other presenting problems and misdiagnosis, how to skillfully gather full information about trauma history while containing clients, and how to utilize curiosity and compassion during trauma assessments.

Workshop details:

  • You will be sent the zoom link and any handouts prior to the workshop
  • After the workshop, you will be sent an evaluation form. You will be emailed your certificate upon completion of the evaluation
