Three (3) Category A Clinical CEUs are approve by NASW NH. Approval #3719

This workshop will describe culturally diverse, faith-based and secular forms of meditation. The presenter will explore the personal benefits of meditation and address using meditation to facilitate enhanced mood regulation, concentration, detachment from stress, and positivity for clients. There will be case applications of sit-down meditation and ‘spot’ or tactical application, and participants will engage in an experiential introduction to a 13-step process for introducing clients (and self) to at least four forms of meditation: manta, breath count, mindful breath awareness, and hybrid meditation. The benefits, cautions, and relevance of meditation to prayer and social action will also be topics of discussion. Join us!
